Setup Notes.
Texas is the truest 1.5-mile downforce track on the schedule — what works here gets you 80% of the way to Kansas, Charlotte, and Vegas. We dropped front splitter exposure 0.25 from baseline to keep the nose stuck through the 4-degree banking.
Rear spring is one rate softer than the Kansas baseline. Get the car to roll over the right-rear on entry and you'll find rotation without sacrificing exit grip. Watch the LF tire temp delta — if outside-inside stretches past 30°F, take a click of wedge out.
Qualifying trim is in the file as a saved setup labeled QUAL. Race trim is the default. Don't confuse them in practice or you'll get a phantom complaint about the car being loose in race-trim runs.
